The annual meeting of the GDR and IRN HOWDI will take place from November 24th to November 28th 2025 at the domaine du Lazaret in Sète on the French mediterranean coast.

The French and international community working on van der Waals materials is invited to this important gathering. All topics related to these materials and their heterostructures will be covered : growth and synthesis, characterization, electronic transport, optical properties, spin properties, moiré physics, correlated states…

The usual format is conserved: the colloquium will consist in a full week of presentation and exchange (from Monday afternoon to Friday lunch) in full pension with accommodation directly in the conference center.
